PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Helios is the ancient Greek God of the sun, who is said to drive His chariot each day from east to west across the sky, mirroring the movement of the sun. Helios is also a guardian of oaths and also the God of sight as well. Although He was a relatively minor deity in Classical Greece, His worship became more and more prominent in late antiquity thanks to His assimilation and identification with other solar deities such as Apollo and Sol. He is usually depicted with sun rays around His head. This magnificent sculpture is an exact replica of the bust of Helios that was unearthed in 1970 at the ancient Agora in Athens, Greece, and can be seen to this day at the Ancient Agora Museum in Athens, Greece.

All our designs are high quality printing, environmentally friendly materials. Perfect finishes, very careful.
