This piece contains a severed head of Alexander the Great that belongs to the Hellenistic period and is dated between 300 BCE and 150 BCE. Discovered in Alexandria, Egypt, it specifically hails from Iskandariya and was sculpted to fit onto a separately crafted body. After meticulous work, one of our sculptors has managed to repair the head from behind and has dressed it with a toga.
