This is a restored metope of Helios in a quadriga that was originally located in the Temple of Athena in Ilion, Troy, dating back to 300-280 BC. The row of sculpted metopes on the north side of the temple dedicated to the city’s goddess, Athena, began with an image of the sun God’s quadriga rising out of the sea. Like the Parthenon in Athens, the row likely continued with depictions of battles for Troy and concluded with the moon Goddess, Selene. Our two sizes are:
1.) 20CM(L)x4.5CM(W)x20.8cm (H)
2.) 35.5CM (L)x5cm(W)x35.5cm(H)
All our designs are high quality printing, environmentally friendly materials. Perfect finishes, very careful.
Pieces created with a high level of detail, durable products and great care when packaging
