This is a very rare reproduction of Gaius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, or more infamously known as Caligula. He was a Roman emperor from AD 37 until his assassination in AD 41. He was the son of Germanicus, the Roman general and Agrippina the Elder.
The majority of the few surviving writings about Caligula were themselves written by nobles and the senate long after the purported events occurred. He is described in these sources as moderate and just in the first six months of his rule, only to have increasingly devolved into an indulgent, bloodthirsty, and sexually perverted tyrant who made himself a god while he was still alive.
In our more modern society, scholars and historians seek to understand the historical times surrounding his reign, often dismissing the more outrageous claims made about this mysterious and enigmatic historical figure. He is depicted here in his regal military attire.
All our designs are high quality printing, environmentally friendly materials. Perfect finishes, very careful.
Pieces created with a high level of detail, durable products and great care when packaging
